I am a violist, composer, and improviser from Brooklyn, NY.
As our musical landscape has changed with
the emergence of streaming and smart tech,
my interest is on maintaining humanism in music:
expression, imperfection, spontaneity,
and the attention to detail and narrative
that has driven organized sound for centuries.
Some of my music is classical-based, some is atonal, some is unpitched sound, some is a combination of the three.
Instruments that spark joy for me: viola, violin, Tibetan singing bowls, waterphone, monophonic synthesizers.
